Custom paint is not a color choice, it is a bodywork standard. Every finish below shows more, not less, of what is underneath.
Full color changes
Including jambs, hood underside and trunk, so the car does not betray its old color the moment a door opens.
Matte and satin finishes
Beautiful and completely unforgiving: with no gloss to hide behind, the bodywork has to be perfect before the finish goes on.
Hand-taped stripes and graphics
Measured and masked by hand rather than applied as vinyl. That is what keeps the edges sharp under clear coat instead of raised.
Candy, pearl and multi-stage
Colors built in layers, where the result depends on coat count and consistency across the whole car.
Panels sprayed off the car
Doors, hoods and panels shot separately when the design needs the pattern to carry through every gap and seam.
Paint on custom bodywork
Widebody arches, carbon parts and fabricated panels finished so the whole car reads as one piece rather than a kit.

Talk through the look

Bodywork first
Everything gets blocked straight before color is discussed again. On a matte or candy finish this stage is longer than the painting itself.

Mock up the layout
Stripes and graphics get taped out and looked at on the actual car, in daylight, before anything is sprayed.

Custom paint questions
What does a custom paint job cost?
Far more than a standard respray, and the reason is hours, not materials. A color change means painting the jambs, the hood underside and the trunk. Stripes mean laying out and masking by hand. A matte or candy finish means the bodywork has to be perfect first, because those finishes hide nothing. Anyone quoting a custom job over the phone is guessing. We look at the car, talk through what you actually want, and give you a real number.
Is a vinyl wrap not cheaper than paint?
Cheaper up front, yes, and it is genuinely the right call if you want a look for a year or two and the factory paint underneath preserved. But a wrap follows every flaw in the panel instead of correcting it, the edges lift over time, and Florida sun is hard on it. Paint is a permanent finish that starts by making the bodywork straight. Different products for different goals — we will tell you honestly which one fits what you are describing.
How do I care for a matte finish?
No wax, no polish and no automatic car wash with brushes. Anything that adds gloss or burnishes the surface leaves shiny patches that cannot be buffed out, because buffing is what caused them. Wash it by hand with a matte-specific product, dry it with a clean microfiber, and deal with bird droppings quickly. Handled that way a matte finish stays even. We go through this with you when the car is handed over.
Can you paint a car you did not build?
Yes, and a lot of what comes through here is exactly that: someone else did the mechanical work or the fabrication and the car needs finishing properly. What we will not do is spray color over bodywork that is not ready, because the result comes back on us. If the panels need more work first we will show you what we are seeing and quote both parts separately.
