Insurance Claims Assistance

We work with every insurance company and we deal with the estimate, the supplements and the back-and-forth so you do not have to. In Florida you choose the shop — not your insurer.

What is included

What we take off your plate

Most people have not made a collision claim before, and the process is designed by people who do it every day. That asymmetry is the actual problem.

Estimate in your carrier’s format

Written the way your insurance company needs to receive it, so it does not bounce back and cost you a week.

Photo documentation

Every piece of damage photographed at teardown, which is what turns a disputed line item into an approved one.

Supplements when hidden damage appears

Extra damage shows up on almost every job once panels come off. We file it with the insurer instead of adding it to your bill.

Direct billing

We bill the carrier directly where the claim allows it, so you are not floating the repair on your own card.

Parts conversations

OEM, aftermarket or recycled — we tell you what the insurer approved and what the difference actually means for your car.

Someone who answers

You get a person at the shop who knows your claim, not a queue.

How it works

How a claim runs through our shop

  1. Bring us the claim number

That is genuinely all we need to start. If you have not opened a claim yet we can talk through whether it is worth doing.

  2. We estimate and submit

The car is assessed, documented and the estimate goes to your carrier in their format, with the photos attached.

  3. Approval and teardown

Once approved we start. When teardown reveals more damage, that becomes a supplement rather than a surprise for you.

  4. Repair and billing

The work happens here start to finish, and the invoicing goes to the insurer where the claim allows. You cover your deductible, nothing else.

Frequently asked

Insurance questions

Can my insurance company make me use their shop?

No. In Florida you choose where your vehicle is repaired, and that is your right regardless of what a claims representative implies on the phone. Insurers maintain networks of shops they have agreements with and they are allowed to recommend them, but a recommendation is not a requirement. If you want the car repaired here, tell them that and give us the claim number. We deal with every carrier and the process runs the same way.

What if the insurance estimate is lower than the real repair?

That is extremely common, and it is not usually anyone acting in bad faith — the first estimate is written from photos or a quick visual, before anything comes apart. The fix is documentation. We photograph every piece of damage at teardown and file a supplement with the evidence attached. Most supplements get approved because they are backed by pictures. What you should never accept is a shop making up the gap by skipping steps in the repair.

OEM, aftermarket or used parts — does it matter?

It can. OEM parts come from the manufacturer and fit the way the original did. Aftermarket quality ranges from excellent to genuinely poor, and the bad ones cost you in fitment and panel gaps. Recycled OEM parts are often a good middle path. What your policy covers varies, so we tell you what the carrier approved and what you would be getting. If we think an approved part will compromise the repair, we will say so and push back.

Do I still have to pay my deductible?

Yes. Your deductible is set by your policy and it is the part of the repair you agreed to cover. Be careful with any shop that offers to “take care of” or waive it — in Florida that is insurance fraud, and it puts you on the hook, not just them. A shop willing to do that with your claim is telling you something about how it treats the rest of the repair.

Have a claim number? That is all we need.

Call us and we will take it from there — estimate, submission, supplements and billing. You deal with us, not with the carrier.
